Today, we went to Yellowstone with some friends. It was so much fun. So much to see! We weren't even close to seeing a fraction of the park and we were there most of the day.
The colors are different bacteria that grow in different temperatures of water. The hottest is a deep aqua blue like in the picture behind me(and thats not even the bluest). It is gorgeous.
Waiting to see Old Faithful.
There she goes!!!!!!
Look at all the people!
There was a huge freak hail storm on our way out of the park. There was a group of Harley's that stopped and huddled under a bunch of trees. They were hitting the car so hard that we couldn't even hear each other talk. It was crazy!
On the way home, we drove down past the Tetons and through Jackson WY (where Harrison Ford lives. Sadly, we didn't see him). Dad, you have to come and see these someday. As pretty as this picture is, it does not do them the slightest justice. They were beyond description. The boiling water and mud in Yellowstone was cool but dramatic natural beauty like this is where my heart really is. I wish you all could see them. We drove so close to them I wanted to jump out of the car and drink these mountains forever. And I live so close.
