Sunny day at Yellowstone... mostly

Today, we went to Yellowstone with some friends. It was so much fun. So much to see! We weren't even close to seeing a fraction of the park and we were there most of the day.

The colors are different bacteria that grow in different temperatures of water. The hottest is a deep aqua blue like in the picture behind me(and thats not even the bluest). It is gorgeous.

Waiting to see Old Faithful.

There she goes!!!!!!
Look at all the people!
There was a huge freak hail storm on our way out of the park. There was a group of Harley's that stopped and huddled under a bunch of trees. They were hitting the car so hard that we couldn't even hear each other talk. It was crazy!

On the way home, we drove down past the Tetons and through Jackson WY (where Harrison Ford lives. Sadly, we didn't see him). Dad, you have to come and see these someday. As pretty as this picture is, it does not do them the slightest justice. They were beyond description. The boiling water and mud in Yellowstone was cool but dramatic natural beauty like this is where my heart really is. I wish you all could see them. We drove so close to them I wanted to jump out of the car and drink these mountains forever. And I live so close.

More around the house

School is out and I have been decorating a little more- finally getting things up on the wall!

This is what happens in 10 minutes when you buy cheap candles.

This is the full wall. Lookin good eh? Thanks to my sisters for all their awesome ideas and suggestions.
Plus a monkey thank you card from Miriam. So cute I added it to the shelf.

I made this. Its only about 5 inches in diameter- pretty small. Cut out the vellum paper with a razor blade and put it over cute red "love" paper.

Ok I bought this for a dollar to put up on the wall but it fits PERFECTLY in my bathroom drawer. Wha! I was so excited. All of my other drawers have boxes for dividers- classy I know.

I might point out that these pictures dont show the floor because the floor was messy! Haha. Maybe I'll put pictures of us up here at some point. This will have to do for now.
