We made our first trip to Eureka with Jack. We made it out in one long 16-hour day. Only two major meltdowns that required pulling over for a break. We took two days to come back which was a lot easier on everyone. Jack got to meet grandpa Ric and great-grama and grampa Jeannie and Dee! It was so nice to have a break from the heat in Utah and fell wet and soggy for a few days. The annual Medley reunion was happening at Grandma Jeannies house so we got to see all the cousins! Everyone is so grown up!
Ellie and Jack.
Two of the four 2012 grandbabies.
Another boy coming in August and girl in October.
Mom took Lynn and me to the Samoa Cookhouse. The food was really good! In their little museum is the picture that used to hang in Grandma Dottys house. It has a little plaque with her name on it. It made me really miss her.

Jack travels home
On the way back to Utah, we stayed overnight in Reno. After feeding Jack before bed, he threw up EVERYTHING he had just eaten. It was the most amount of throw up I have ever seen come out of a child. It got on his face and breathed a little bit in his nose. He was really quite upset. It took a lot of rocking and soothing but he finally calmed down and fell asleep. It was just as traumatic for me!! I didnt know if he was sick! Feeding him the next few times was really nerve-racking but we all survived and havent had as colossal of a puke since. Thankfully.
