Yes we live in an Icebox.
This morning, I woke up like normal. I looked up the weather. It was -20 degrees. Why? Why does this have to happen? It makes everything that has to do with outside so uncomfortable.
So we bundled up and started our day. The first two seconds outside aren't so bad. It's just cold. But during and after the third second, the cold seeps into your skin and steals every ounce of moisture.
You can't breathe in very much because it hurts your chest. If you breathe through your nose, your buggers freeze.
You start to get a runny nose, it drips out the end of your nose, and you have a mini self-made icicle all to yourself off the tip of your nose.
You have to blink more because most of your eye moisture is sucked out and whats left gets frosty.
Exposed skin is painful and takes forever to warm back up.
If your ears get too cold, your brain hurts. And can lead to a headache.
We got home from school and Colin tried to wash his hands... no water came out. Uhhh....
Our pipes froze. Our landlord didnt get home for an hour. We couldnt make dinner either.
We ended up having to put a hair dryer down a hole in our watercloset to thaw out the pipes. PRAY they dont bust.
What an adventurous life we live.
This weather really is Bone Chilling!
Anyone want to come visit??
